Kitcat Kyng Island-Breeze was born at around 10 am on May 6, 2021 out of Waitnsee Magician Breeze and sired by Prairie Creek Fonzorelli Kyng. Laney is very quiet, gentle, and easy going. There is nothing that really bothers her, and we expect her to make an incredible , bombproof riding horse one day. Laney started her formal training in mid October as weather and my health allowed. She currently has a handful of rides and is coming along really well. She loves her sessions and has been a super easy horse to start. She will continue to be ridden at least once a week until she sells.
Before Laney was born, Jasen said he really wanted Waitnsee Magician Breeze to have a chestnut filly with a blaze and socks. We all told him that it wasn't going to happen - that she would either have black colt or a black filly, but definitely not a chestnut... Needless to say, we were pleasantly surprised when a gorgeous chestnut filly magically appeared! Since the moment she was born, Laney and her human papa have always shared a very special bond. We like to say that he custom ordered her straight out of a magazine!
Laney gave birth to a handsome, HUGE chestnut john mule foal ( Jasecat Clyde) on May 5, 2025 sired by registered mammoth jack BWMD Levi son of Hagrid. We had hoped to keep Clyde for ourselves as a future riding mule, but due to personal health issues he may be available in the spring/summer of 2027.
We are excited to announce that Laney sold within 24 hours of being officially listed! Thank you and congratulations to Ashlyn who is adding Laney to her herd! Laney will be making her way to Oregon, USA in mid January where she will be trained in a variety of disciplines and also be part of a small breeding program. We are so proud of this beautiful homegrown young mare and we are looking forward to seeing where the future takes her with her amazing new owner!
